We have entrusted to God’s merciful keeping
….
Rosie
Griffiths lived much of her life
in care, initially at Leybourne Grange, later at Princess Christian
and for the last twelve years as our neighbour at Number 3
Emily Jackson Close, where she found great happiness.
She was
very popular with her friends and carers, and had a great taste
for the finer things in life, always well dressed with a love
of fillet steak. Although fairly non-verbal, she was always
able to communicate and make her wishes known, and expressed
herself in a love of music and an ability to people watch.
She was very precious to her family, but the loss of her parents
in the early 1960s, somewhat loosened the ties with her wider
family.
To
family and friends, she was always very special, and although
her death freed her from the pain of recent months
she will be greatly missed.
So
we remember her family, as well as Les, Tony, Jacky,
Steve and Iris, and all her
carers in
their loss.
