Who’s who at St Luke's The Vicar The Reverend Mark Griffin is a Kentish man by birth, growing up in the  Medway Towns. He moved to Sevenoaks in 2007, having served in the  Canterbury Diocese for the last eleven years. Mark is married to Clare who is  a teacher. His great interest in church life is encouraging vocation and away  from the church, cricket is his great passion. Click here to email Mark Assistant Curate The Reverend Anne Bourne spent the early years of her life and education  in Dartford, Kent.  She then continued her education at university in Cardiff  where she studied for a teaching degree in Home Economics.  Following  that she returned to Kent to teach in three different schools, mainly in Outer  London where she also worked as deputy head of a sixth form.  Following her marriage to Ian in 1997 they moved to Sevenoaks where they  raised their three children- Jonathan (12), Esther (10) and Rebekah (7). For  the last three years Anne has studied part-time for ordination with the South  East Institute for Theological Education.   In her spare time Anne enjoys cooking with her children, walking and  exploring France.  Click here to email Anne Churchwardens  Tim Pearce - was elected Churchwarden in 2010. Tim was born in Sevenoaks and has always had  a home in the town. He has been an occasional worshipper at St Luke's since 1981 and regular  since his retirement as an English teacher at Cheltenham.  Click here to email Tim   Ronald Adamson - was elected Churchwarden in 2008 and has been a regular worshipper at St  Luke's since 1981. He is a retired Banker and is married to Jane; they have two sons.  Click here to email Ronald Director of Music  Nancy Wolfe was appointed Director of Music in 2004. She is a lively and enthusiastic individual of  broad international experience and understanding both as organist and choir director. She has  taught both in the UK and the USA and as a teacher her aim is always to help her pupils to achieve  their potential as performers and for them to enjoy the process every step of the way.  The Parochial Church Council St Luke's Parochial Church Council has the responsibility of co-operating with the Incumbent in  promoting in the parish the whole mission of the Church, pastoral, evangelistic, social and  ecumenical. PCC Sub-Committees  The PCC operates through a number of sub-committees which meet between full meetings of the Council. St. Luke's has several of these and their tasks are listed below. Standing Committee: This is the only committee required by law. It has power to transact the  business of the PCC between its meetings, subject to any directions given by the Council.  Finance: Oversees the general financial dimension of St Luke's by monitoring income, expenditure  and budgeting.  Hall Management: Deals with all matters relating to the use of the Church Hall, Parish Room,  Upper Room and their upkeep.  Stewardship: Encourages ways of ensuring that the congregation gives committedly in terms of  money, time and abilities to further the church's work.  Social: Arranges social activities for the congregation, newcomers and the wider community.  Music and Arts' Festival: Arranges the programme and activities for, and oversees, the Festival  held during October.  Fabric: Monitors the physical condition of St Luke's church and it's associated property and  oversees any necessary building works.  The Home and Overseas Giving Committee: Advises the PCC on giving to Christian  Organisations at home and abroad.
